I couldn't believe Kenpachi was just straight-up calling Yammy a boring pest while Byakuya was trying to keep his composure, but what really got me was how they both practically shoved Ichigo out of the fight. It just felt so wild and deliberate, almost like they were setting him up for something or trying to keep him safe in their own twisted way.
