My heart genuinely broke watching Haineko having to put down Narunosuke herself; I can only imagine how utterly soul-crushing that must have been for her, especially after all they'd been through. I really wasn't expecting this filler arc to hit me with such a dramatic and heavy blow, it felt so unfair.
