Watching Byakuya’s kido during that fight with Koga was just so fluid and powerful, I swear the animation for it rivaled the canon stuff. It wasn't just a cool fight though; seeing them unravel more of the Kuchiki family drama, with all that history weighing them down, really put into perspective how deep those roots go for Byakuya.
