I was ready to skip this since it is filler, but I am so glad I stayed for Ashido because his backstory is tragic. Imagine being stuck in Hueco Mundo for hundreds of years just to keep the human world safe and then seeing the others leave you behind. My heart broke for him when he stayed to fight alone

My gut just aches thinking about Ashido getting caught in that collapse; after everything he's endured and sacrificed, it would just feel so incredibly unfair for him to go out like that, I'm really holding onto hope he made it somehow.

The atmosphere in the forest of menos is so dark and dangerous and Ashido surviving there for hundreds of years is absolute madness
