EPISODE REVIEWS

The episode itself is not horrible. The story of the Black Knight is good, but not that touching. The soundtrack is forgettable, but the pacing is the best aspect of the episode. The animation, however, is horrendous; CGI that takes the viewer out of the episode and makes us wonder why we're watching this. 2.5 stars.

Episode 2 keeps the pace tight. Kelvin clearly enjoys combat a bit too much and the show plays that up in a way that's more charming than alarming. The Dark Knight showdown is exciting and sets a bar for the action that the rest of the season mostly lives up to.

It's really surprising how the main character's level go up in high pace but considering his companions, it's also normal in a way. So far, the story pacing is also good.
