The animation in the action scenes is very good. The pacing is great as well. Overall, it’s a good start for an OVA, with plenty of action. The bar fight scenes were very entertaining, it’s really engaging to watch.

Great action sequences and atmospheric world-building with a great introduction to Roberta and the other characters.

The first episode continues with everything that made Black Lagoon famous in the first place, if you like even more stories maintaining the dark tone (the bar scene is peak) this OVA is perfect for you; if you don´t like gore or sensitive topics, please skip it.
