Episode Context

Coming directly off 'Visited Memories,' where Black Jack reckoned with his own history, this finale pivots outward, from the personal to the political. It brings the series to a close by placing Black Jack at the intersection of medicine and a world far beyond his control, escalating the stakes in a way the earlier episodic structure rarely allowed. As the final episode of twelve, there is nothing left to set up, this is the resolution.
