Zora and Asta's return to battle was so heartwarming to watch! Their teamwork and battle chemistry is actually good... both of their unusual magic styles work together. Zora's tsundere attitude coupled with Asta's oblivious nature also makes their banter fun.

Mereoleona's mana explosion move thing was so baddass! It would've been a lot cooler if it wasn't panning still frames, but the voice acting really did some heavy lifting. Even elves are scared of her ! I found the scene with the guy whose body was scared of her funny, was it a natural or learned instinct?

Even for Mereoleona, fighting five, really powerful mages all at once is crazy work. All of their abilities were well-combined to target any openings she has. It's the first time seeing her struggle, which feels disheartening; it really goes to show how overpowered all the elves are.

Okay, my jaw seriously dropped when Mereoleona just kept going, even after all those brutal attacks! I mean, who else has that much raw power and determination in the whole kingdom? It honestly makes me wonder if she even *feels* pain sometimes.

It was so satisfying to see those elves get caught off guard by a human they thought was beneath them and Mereoleona really humbled them

Mereoleona is basically a monster for taking on five elves at once without even flinching and that final fire spell was absolutely brutal

even though the animation was all over the place during the elf fight mereoleona herself is so cool that it barely even mattered and then having asta show up with zora to use those traps was a great way to show growth instead of just hitting stuff hard and that final shot of yuno was crazy after everything they have been through

zora and asta working together to reflect that combined magic blast was such a smart move and it finally gave mereoleona a second to breathe after fighting for her life

The animation looked a bit rough in some spots during the big magic clashes, but Mereoleona being a total monster made up for it when she refused to go down

i actually shouted when asta used zoras trap magic to flip that massive elf attack right back at them and it finally saved mereoleona

The animation looked really impressive when Mereoleona was throwing those punches and she did not even care about her own safety as long as she took those elves down with her

the way mereoleona just smiled while being beat up by five people at once was terrifying and she is easily the coolest captain in the entire kingdom right now
