EPISODE REVIEWS

Amazing episode, the dark, "corrupted" elements from Langris's magic pulls the audience back into the main antagonist, the elves! Great for reminding us of the stakes and outside factors from the royal knights exam.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 80 of 170, this installment is deep into the Royal Knights Selection Exam arc, a tournament-style stretch that serves as both a proving ground for existing characters and a bridge toward the larger conflicts ahead. Previous episodes established the exam's stakes and matchups, and this sibling-focused battle raises the emotional intensity heading into the exam's later rounds, where team compositions and individual revelations will carry significant weight into the arc that follows.
