EPISODE REVIEWS

Damn, I honestly didn't expect Xerx to actually work with Mimosa and Asta. Looks like Asta's "head-first" personality really works with all types of people! Although having the Kirsch team split up and be a one-man team feels underwhelming in battle.

Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the Royal Knights Selection Exam arc, this episode picks up directly after the first round's conclusion and launches the second round with one of its most thematically loaded matchups. It deepens the dynamic between newly assembled teammates, particularly Zora's role alongside Asta, while escalating the tournament's intensity. The outcome of this round will shape the final roster for the assault on the Eye of the Midnight Sun, making every fight carry long-term weight.
