The 180 from Mars felt so satisfying, he always came off as an empathetic character for me, but even more so here. He has a completely different vibe from when he was introduced as an opponent in some random dungeon too. I wonder how he'll react seeing Fana?? Their interaction will be firee

The Landros guy was wayy too OP, him alongside Mars have abilities that feel on par with Vetto and the third eye for some reason. Showcasing their abilities really established the subplot for magical experimentation within Diamond Kingdom! It'll be an interesting subject.

The more Mariella and Dominante are shown, the more endearing they become to me as characters. We barely got any character building on both of them, so it was pretty hard to sympathize with them on a deeper level initially, especially when Mariella seemingly betrayed Fanzell.

Ladros is completely off his rocker, and watching him turn Fanzell's wind magic against those poor soldiers was brutal to see

Ladros makes me so nervous because he just absorbs everything and laughs while hurting his own people and he is way more unhinged than most of the villains we have seen so far

Wait, Mars actually chucked Ladros right at Asta? I genuinely did not see that coming at all, my jaw dropped! Like, who thought *that* would be their teamwork strategy? Hilarious!

Watching Mars actually try to protect someone after everything that happened with Asta earlier makes me so happy

That Ladros guy has the creepiest eyes and watching him just blast his own soldiers was crazy

Fanzell fighting his old students feels so heavy because you can tell how much he hates what the Diamond Kingdom turned them into

Mars coming back to help Fanzell is really cool and seeing him use magic to protect people instead of just being a weapon made that whole scene feel so different than the dungeon arc

I was worried this was just going to be a side story but seeing Mars come back to help Fanzell was such a huge moment for me and then that psycho Ladros gets thrown right at Asta so things are about to get even crazier than the fight with Fana and that huge fire lizard already was

How are they even supposed to beat Ladros when he just eats every spell thrown at him like it is nothing

Using golems as bombs was such a smart move, and seeing how much Dominante and Mariella did to help the witches win this was great

The art looks so much more consistent lately, especially when the magic is flying everywhere during the forest invasion

It is painful watching Asta try to talk sense into Fana while she just keeps losing her mind and attacking with that fire spirit

Mars choosing to side with Fanzell instead of the kingdom that used him really got to me because of how far he has come

The title really fits because seeing Mariella and Mars try to do the right thing after their past is a nice touch and it shows that defecting from the Diamond Kingdom was the only way they could find peace

It hit me hard when Mars realized Asta is the secret weapon against Ladros and they started working together and seeing those two side by side is something I never thought would happen after their first fight

It feels like you have seen this type of insane villain before and Ladros is just doing the same thing and his magic absorption power is a cool gimmick though even if his personality is a bit much

Fanzell trying to talk sense into Ladros while dodging those massive beams was intense and you can tell he really feels guilty about how his students turned out and he is actually trying to save them

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 60 follows the fierce clash with Fana and pivots the narrative toward the Diamond Kingdom's push into the Witches' Forest, broadening the conflict beyond Asta's immediate circle. Fanzell's backstory and his ties to Ladros and Mars receive critical development here, establishing the emotional and tactical stakes for the confrontations ahead. This episode serves as a crucial bridge, grounding the arc's escalating action in personal history before the next wave of battles unfolds.
