Nggak terlalu banyak yang terjadi di episode ini. Lebih fokus ke persiapan. Nash agak annoying sebenarnya. Si pastor itu juga.

Those Magic Knights squad insignias looked really sleek and it makes me wonder which captain is going to be the most terrifying once the actual exams start in the next town

Yuno gliding through the air while Asta struggles with a giant slab of iron is the perfect summary of their relationship and I cannot wait to see them actually compete

Asta needs to chill with the yelling or your ears are going to bleed and that juice he drinks looks absolutely disgusting

Did Yuno even *try* cutting those massive logs, or did they just disintegrate from his aura? I kinda felt bad for Asta swinging that huge sword with all his might, it's just so unfair how easily some people get things while others gotta grind it out.

The legend of the first Wizard King is cool, but that five-leaf clover on the grimoire having a demon inside is way more interesting for the future of the story

I liked seeing the actual journey to the capital because it made the distance feel real and not just a quick skip across the map. The campfire scene where they talked about the powerful mages they might fight really built up the hype for the exams, and seeing the scale of the city at the end was a great way to close things out

My heart sank when Father Orsi told them the church will always be their home because you know he thinks Asta is just going to fail and come back immediately

Training for six months in the shadow of a giant demon skeleton is such a flex and Asta doing a thousand swings a day is wild dedication for someone with no magic

The capital is massive and seeing those golden spires and white walls from the ridge made the whole long trek through the woods feel worth it for those two

The journey to the capital felt like it took forever and I just want to see the actual magic exams start already instead of watching them hike through the rain

Nash acting like he doesn't care but clearly being sad that his big brothers are leaving was a relatable moment and the church is going to be way too quiet now

The intro with the giant demon skull was such a strong start and it sets a really dark tone for the history of the kingdom compared to the goofy stuff in the village

That juice Asta was chugging looked absolutely disgusting and it is crazy how much physical training he does just to keep up with Yuno's natural talent

I felt so bad for Father Orsi crying when they left, but Asta proposing to Sister Lily one last time before getting blasted by her water magic was hilarious.

You can really tell the village head is worried about that five leaf clover and I wonder if that demon legend is going to be a huge problem for Asta later on

I think the travel scenes were a bit slow but seeing the different squads and their symbols got me excited to see which one the boys end up in, even if everyone thinks Asta has no chance. I really liked the campfire talk between them because it shows they actually respect each other despite all the constant shouting and racing back home.

Sister Lily looking back at Asta protecting Yuno as kids was a nice touch and it explains why they are so close now even if they are rivals

The scale of the Royal Capital at the end is huge and it makes the church in Hage look so small by comparison and seeing the boys finally reach the city after that long trek felt good

My ears actually hurt from all the yelling Asta does in this one and I really hope he tones it down soon because the legend about the first Wizard King was actually really cool to see

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting between the series' opening promise — Asta and Yuno's vow to become Wizard King — and the actual Magic Knights Entrance Exam, this episode is pure transition. It closes out the Hage Village chapter of the story and repositions both protagonists for the challenges ahead in the Royal Capital. As a filler episode early in a 170-episode run, it's skippable for plot but useful for anyone wanting the full emotional runway before the exam arc kicks off.
