EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

Sitting between the series' opening promise, Asta and Yuno's vow to become Wizard King, and the actual Magic Knights Entrance Exam, this episode is pure transition. It closes out the Hage Village chapter of the story and repositions both protagonists for the challenges ahead in the Royal Capital. As a filler episode early in a 170-episode run, it's skippable for plot but useful for anyone wanting the full emotional runway before the exam arc kicks off.
