Episode Context

Picking up directly from the chaos unleashed in 'Blackout,' this episode represents the climactic escalation of the Royal Capital invasion arc, roughly one-seventh into the full 170-episode run. The Magic Knights are deep in crisis mode, and the consequences established here carry directly into 'Wounded Beasts,' which shifts the focus toward recovery and aftermath. This stretch of episodes marks Black Clover's first major long-form arc payoff, establishing the narrative stakes that define the series going forward.
