I honestly didn't expect the childhood backstory to take up most of the episode but seeing Yuno as a total crybaby was actually kind of sweet. It makes his current stoic attitude feel more like a choice he made to get stronger. I really felt for Asta when he was just getting beat down by that drunk guy for the pendant and still wouldn't quit.
