Mars's flashback with Fana, seeing them as such young kids being thrown into that messed-up experiment and forced to fight each other, truly made my stomach clench. I found myself feeling this weird mix of pity for him, despite all the trouble he's causing, because you just see how deeply that trauma forged him.
