EPISODE REVIEWS

I actually enjoyed myself a good amount despite this offering zero progression for any aspect of Black Clover because it's yet another filler. I quite liked the jokes and gags this episode, but it's not an episode I'm going to remember. It is what it is.

Episode Context

Arriving at episode 135 of 170, this filler installment lands in a stretch between major story arcs, following the gathering of key players in episode 134 and preceding the buildup toward the series' later, more intense developments. It functions as a deliberate cooldown, offering character-driven levity before the narrative ramps back up. Fans powering through to the endgame can safely skip this without losing plot threads, but it rewards those who enjoy the cast's off-duty dynamics.
