EPISODE REVIEWS

There wasn't all that much payoff this episode, just a bit of character development for Leo, but really nothing of value other than that. I expected something better to be honest, but it's just a personal preference that training arcs aren't my favourite.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 133 of 170, this falls in Black Clover's later stretch where the series invests in squad-level growth between major saga beats. It directly continues 'The Lion Awakens,' deepening the dungeon exploration that began in the previous episode while developing Leopold and the Black Bulls' combat synergy. The groundwork laid here, both in character progression and abilities, feeds into the escalating conflicts that define the series' final arc push.
