QUICK TAKES

This episode was much less action packed and slowed down after all the devil fighting which I enjoyed. Finding out that Julius is still alive was so shocking and cool at the same time cause of his magic. The fact that Asta is being blamed for everything by the royal parliament is very unfair because he was one of the main reasons the kingdom is okay. But the nobles and royals always treat the lower class like this. The tension immediately increased when Damnatio entered and brought in Marie. Asta should have also known it was a trap from the beginning, but trap or not, when he saved Marie, that was the best part of the episode, had me super hyped.

Those nobles yelling at Asta after he did all the work to stop the elves makes the blood boil. They learned absolutely nothing from almost dying and just want someone to blame

I am so glad Julius survived but seeing him with only one page in his grimoire was a total shock. He looks like a kid now and it makes me wonder how he can even lead

Asta literally saves the whole kingdom and these nobles still treat him like trash and blaming the orphan kid because he has devil powers is just so infuriating

That chairman is already the worst person in this show. He acted all polite just to trap Asta in a trial and his brand of justice is disgusting

Marx could literally just use his magic to show everyone what happened and it makes zero sense why they are ignoring that option during the trial

It is really annoying how they are trying to pin the devil stuff on Asta when he was the main reason the kingdom is still standing

That scene where they put Asta on trial was so hard to watch because of how blatantly they were ignoring the truth just to find a scapegoat

I seriously hate Damnatio for trying to kill a little kid just to make Asta look like a villain and it makes me so mad how the nobles just sat there and let it happen

Bringing Julius back as a child feels like a massive step back for the story because it makes his previous death scene feel totally cheap

It is wild how Nero is finally human and sticking by Asta even when the whole kingdom is turning against him and trying to make him a scapegoat for the devils

Seeing Sekke become the king's little errand boy was the only funny part of this whole stressful mess, and it really fits his character perfectly

Animation quality staying consistent throughout the dialogue scenes made the trial feel much more tense

Watching the Magic Parliament ignore the truth just to protect their own status was infuriating and Damnatio really knows how to manipulate the situation to make Asta look like a monster

Julius being a kid now was such a shock and he is so tiny now but at least he is alive because the kingdom would be completely doomed without his wisdom right now

I honestly cannot believe Julius is back as a child, because it felt like such a huge loss when he died, but seeing him alive makes me so relieved even if he has no magic left. The way the parliament is already coming for Asta is making me lose my mind because the guy literally just saved every single person in that room

My brain stopped working when Julius explained the three problems facing the kingdom and I am honestly worried about how they will survive with a tiny kid as the leader and a destroyed country

I am so glad Julius is back even if he looks like a twelve year old, but it sucks that his influence is gone when Asta needs him most to stop this execution

Damnatio Kira is already the most annoying character because he just cares about his own version of justice and does not care that Asta is the actual hero who saved everyone

Seeing Julius as a tiny kid was such a shock, and it really changes everything for the magic knights now that their strongest leader is basically powerless. It is so hard to watch the parliament go after Asta like that when he is the main reason they even have a kingdom left to govern, and Damnatio seems like a total nightmare. Hopefully the next arc does not have too much filler since they need to address the three problems Julius mentioned
