EPISODE REVIEWS

Charmy having sauce on her face instead of elf tattoos was hilarious and it perfectly lightened the mood after the Luck fight and seeing the squad finally regroup at the base reminds you why the Black Bulls are great

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 105 of 170, this follows directly from the Black Bulls' confrontation with a possessed Luck during the elf reincarnation crisis, one of the series' most consequential arcs. 'Smiles, Tears' serves as an emotional resolution to that immediate conflict while maintaining forward momentum toward the larger kingdom-wide threat. It's a transitional episode that closes one chapter of the squad's internal struggle and repositions the team for the broader battles still ahead.
