Focusing less on introducing new powers and more on why the characters keep fighting in the first place. Different characters are forced to defend their personal beliefs, even when those beliefs clash with reality. Eiji continues to struggle with the responsibility that comes from possessing one of the strongest Orders, while other characters challenge his perspective and motivations. The episode benefits from slowing down slightly and giving its cast more opportunities to explain what drives them. Although some of the dialogue is still overly dramatic, it fits the tone of the series and helps make the confrontations feel more meaningful. It is not the most action-packed episode, but it provides important character development and strengthens the themes that have been building throughout the series.
