We head, to what I think, is a short timeskip where we are introduced to several new characters from different parts of the world which also expands the scale of setting. We are also shown that our cast have developed unique quirks that are sometimes unintentionally helpful in certain situations. But more importantly, they are trust into several important issues that needs there utmost attention. How they would respond to this, depends on their growth as characters, which we may be seeing more of as the series progresses.
