Bibliophile Princess

Synopsis
For generations, the Bernstein family has been recognized as a house of nobles who favor books over everything else. Elianna Bernstein, daughter of a baron of the Sauslind Kingdom, is no different. But instead of being called a bookworm, she is known as the Bibliophile Princess. Four years ago, the crown prince, Christopher Selkirk Asherald, offered Elianna a special arrangement: if she would become his fiancée, he promised that she could continue to spend all her free time reading. Despite having to inherit a title of great responsibility, she agreed to the proposal, enticed by the prospect of gaining access to the royal archives housing a wide selection of books. To this day, Elianna firmly believes that her engagement is void of romantic sentiment. When she notices Christopher's interactions with another girl, she presumes that the days she spends with him will soon reach an end. Yet, during this period of uncertainty, Elianna and Christopher open a new chapter in their relationship, gradually uncovering their genuine feelings as they grow to better understand each other.

YAAMPUN!! New character unlocked.
Pesona Christoper yang he fell first, he fell harder tuh dapet banget di episode ini.
Menurutku ini konsepnya he fell first, he fell harder sih. Semoga aman jaya sentosa sampe episode akhir :)
That was a lackluster ending. It didn't really leave an impact, and the romantic scenes weren't even really that romantic. It didn't make my heart go doki-doki, but just "oh". The animation quality also dropped, and a lot of frames were drawn awkwardly. It's such a shame because this was the last episode, and it couldn't keep up with the animation momentum.
Elianna Bernstein is truly a multi-dimensional character because what do you mean I was both amazed and pissed off with her in this single episode?! It's amazing how smart she is and can hold her own ground, yet at the same time, she also needs constant reassurance like a weakling. I guess this just shows that she's more than what meets the eye.
This episode really frustrated me in terms of Elianna's characterization. I used to think she was different from other historical romance main lead, but in this episode, she showed her Mary Sue wings and it's pissing me off.
Damn, we see Eli wavering in this episode because of all the rivals around them. I guess she's the only one who doesn't see that she's the best person for the Prince, but it just shows how humble she is.
Damn, it pisses me off how smart yet gullible Elianna is. At the same time, it's inspiring how idealistic she is and how she genuinely wants the best for her kingdom. I love her pacifism; it's such a seldomly seen trait in anime because violence is often promoted.
It seems like a new challenger has appeared?! But I don't think the real challenger is a love challenger, but another thing altogether. How exciting!
You know that warm, reassuring feeling when you watch a show that remains devotedly wholesome in its entire run? This is exactly what this finale is aiming for, and it worked spectacularly. It is a testament that a love story can be written without being overdramatic or having a dark twist, and finish conclusively at the end. It also helps that the cast are really likable, I can't say that enough. Anyways, overall it was great show, solid story and characters, nice art style, and comforting atmosphere. It will endear alot with fans of this genre.
We finally see the culmination of our main character's progression ever since the series started. It was very moving to see how much has changed yet it did not make the person any less likable, which is a definite plus in my book. This penultimate episode sets up for a finale that hinges on the show's consistent tone, which I for one, is excited to see. I expect viewers to feel the same.
Anxiety seems go be the theme of this episode, understandably because its starting to set in that the main character's relationship won't go as smoothly as they thought. There is a lot to consider, including how to determine who is friend or foe and how to preserve the family line and honor. Pressure is mounting, requiring some time to reflect and ponder. This is the heaviest arc of the series yet, it might be the one that really tests our heroes' collective resolve.
