The visuals are really beautiful and the supernatural fights look smooth and stylish. The story feels a bit emotional and mysterious, with a slow build between the main characters. It’s more about mood and feelings than fast action, which makes it unique.

A showcase of the animation Kyoto Animation is known for. A slice of life episode that gives us a pretty good idea of the character dynamics. A great breather episode with great soundtrack and funny humor with added fanserservice. The "you stink" by Mirai had me laughing hard.

I’ve rewatched that dance sequence way too many times. Seeing them train to be idols just to defeat a Youmu that likes beauty is peak anime. The comedy was 10/10. Pure gold.
