Amazing must watch episode! Powerful writing that gave me goosebumps throughout and really triggered an emotional response out of me. Great world building episode and I love how it connected things with simple flashbacks. Akihito's showcase of power is definitely unfrogettable.

Seeing Mirai’s past and that hollow shadow... it’s actually really dark. The lighting in the final confrontation was insane. I wasn’t expecting this show to get so heavy so fast, but the emotional payoff was totally worth the wait.

Love the parallels between Mirai and Akihito on this episode. The way they put the flashbacks on what he said to Mirai earlier plus the timing of the sequences makes the scenes more intense and heavy.
