Episode Context

Coming off episode 2's 'Day of the Dragoon,' where Tyson grappled with controlling his Bit-Beast, this episode pivots from individual struggle to team building by introducing Max Tate as a key ally. It's a deliberate bridge episode, establishing the interpersonal dynamics that will matter once the competitive stakes rise. The next episode, 'The Qualifier Begins,' shifts the series into tournament mode, making this the last purely character-focused setup before the competitive arc takes over.
