Coming off Episode 115's internal crisis, where Team Persona faced the gut-punch decision of transferring or disbanding, Episode 116 immediately externalizes that pressure by unleashing Zero Cross's 'Future Pros' across Xenon City, reframing the season's conflict as something far larger than individual battles. This episode marks a clear turning point, introducing mass-produced Beyblade technology as a systemic threat that raises the competitive stakes for everyone. It flows directly into Episode 117 ('Expanding Power'), suggesting the worst of Zero Cross's campaign is still to come.
