Adon was straight-up ragebait this episode… and I’m still questioning why Casca trusted him. The Band’s results during this mission were interesting though, with several antagonists finally getting their narrative payoffs..

The battle is brutal, but it really highlights the group’s growth in both skill and strategy. The ending feels earned, especially with Casca and Guts reaching a point of mutual respect after everything they’ve gone through.
