Episode Context

Positioned just past the halfway mark at episode 8 of 13, 'Demise of a Dream' follows the quieter 'One Snowy Night' and transforms that brief calm into a devastating turning point for the Band of the Hawk. The choices made here ripple directly into episode 9, 'Wounds,' which deals with the immediate fallout. This is the hinge where the Golden Age Arc begins its irreversible descent toward its infamous climax.
