Episode Context

Sitting at the season's midpoint, 'Tower of Conviction' expands the narrative scope significantly from the preceding episodes, introducing key characters and a setting that will dominate the back half of the season. Following the revelations of 'Epiphany,' this episode shifts focus toward the Holy See's corruption and escalating conflicts that directly feed into 'A Nighttime Feast: Burning at the Stake.' It's a pivotal transition point where Berserk moves from establishing Guts' solitary journey to weaving together multiple character threads that will collide in the episodes ahead.
