Episode Context

Coming directly off Oga's return from training in Episode 47, this episode serves as the payoff, putting his newly developed abilities and resolve on full display against serious opposition. It represents a pivotal character milestone for Oga before the series shifts gears into the New Year's special in Episode 49. With only twelve episodes remaining, this is the stretch where Beelzebub locks into its final act trajectory.
