Episode Context

Sitting at episode 38 of 60, this installment marks a significant pivot point past the series' midway mark, introducing Lord En as a new antagonistic force after Oga and his crew have settled into their established rivalries and alliances. The preceding episodes built up the world around Ishiyama High, and Lord En's arrival now expands the scope into deeper demon-world politics. This sets the stage for a substantial new arc that will drive much of the series' back half, with En's goals and his dynamic with Baby Beel becoming a central storyline.
