Legoshi pushing everyone away is the kind of frustrating that only works because you understand exactly why he does it. The Black Market night scenes are stunning. This show knows how to make tension feel physical.

The lions are trying to find their place in a changing world, and their loyalty to Louis is still a huge factor. The animation during the night scenes in the Black Market is super moody and captures that "edge of your seat" feeling perfectly.

Episode Context

Coming off Melon's intensifying obsession and Jack's personal hardships in episode three, this installment pivots outward to examine the political and social fault lines those private dangers are beginning to crack open. Louis's emerging role in the Zoolympics coexistence initiative and Haru's simmering secret push the season's stakes into more public territory. It positions episode five, "Sweet Hunger," as a direct pressure release for the tensions carefully loaded here.
