Battle Team Lakers EX

When their home planet gets wiped out, a group of alien girls crash-land on Earth, and their only edge against the villain hunting them is a set of crystals that let them transform into superheroines. Led by Blade Knight — the one guy on the team — they form the Battle Team Lakers and go up against Oleana, an evil space dominatrix who wants those crystals for herself. That's the setup, and it leans hard into both sides of its premise: there's genuine sci-fi tokusatsu energy here, transformation sequences and all, but this is also a hentai OVA from 1996, so it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. The character designs have that mid-90s anime look — slightly rough around the edges in a way that feels nostalgic rather than dated. It's a single episode adapted from a visual novel, so the story moves fast and doesn't overstay its welcome. If you've seen La Blue Girl or Words Worth, you already know the territory — sci-fi or fantasy framing wrapped around explicit content, where the action and the adult material share equal billing.
