This episode slows things down after several intense battles and focuses more on Misaki's friendships. It has a cheerful atmosphere with plenty of funny moments, but it also reminds you how much her friends genuinely care about her. While not packed with action, the episode gives several supporting characters a chance to shine and quietly builds anticipation for the national tournament. A relaxing and heartwarming watch before the competition begins.

Aside from the battle, this episode focused more on one of the character’s personal story showing her motivation and the reason she played Angelic Layer. It had a slightly emotional atmosphere, and I thought the story was really well done.
