This episode is a brilliant setup, It immediately creates a sense of dread with that opening flash-forward, then it pulls you into a tense political situation on the ground. It's a huge shift from the space battles of the previous seasons, but it's a welcome change. The stakes are personal, the conflict is complicated, and Jinto is going to have to use every ounce of his diplomatic skill to survive.
