Horrific, shadowy graphics create fear. Ash being forced to kill Shorter is the peak moment. I feel absolutely, utterly destroyed.

UP: Ash's grief is PALPABLE. The Chang Dai scenes are atmospheric and heavy. Sing's introduction gives hope for the next generation. DOWN: The pacing slows down to process trauma which some might find dull. But grief needs time. 🏮

A needed episode after what happened in the last few ones. This one is where the audience can finally have a breathe, with Ash finally fighting back once more. After what happened last episode, no character seemed to have any plot armor. And of course, it was a thrilling episode.
