more of a character episode the blade braver stuff immediately tells you everything you need to know about tamaki as a person lol.
I appreciate how they showed who Tamaki really is as a person in this episode. I like that they gave Tamaki some spotlight early on in this season. The pacing here gives the new club members enough screen time to establish their characters and honestly, each of them is unique and memorable. The animation is unremarkable during the club scene though but it pays off during the Blade Braver sequences which are bright and energetic!
Damn, so hype. I thought this was just going to be all comedy but the sparring/fight was really entertaining. Tamaki is now the star of the dojo! I’m pleasantly surprised by the show so far. The comedy itself isn’t overpowering which is a nice touch (so far, anyway).
