Anyone You Can Do... I Can Do Better!
Oshimeter
Synopsis
What seems like a straightforward tutoring job for Yusuke takes a sharp turn when he shows up at his student Reina's house and meets her mother. Both of them are interested in him, and neither is willing to step aside — which is essentially the entire premise of this 2-episode OVA from 2004. This is a hentai title, so the story is light and the setup does most of the heavy lifting. The central joke is the rivalry between mother and daughter competing over the same guy, played for comedy as much as anything else. It leans into the absurdity of the situation rather than taking itself seriously, which keeps the tone from feeling mean-spirited. The character designs are exaggerated by intention — that's kind of the whole point, given the title — and the visual novel roots from Blue Gale give it a slightly more structured feel than you might expect from something this short. If you've seen Milk Money or Bakunyuu Maid Kari and enjoyed the comedic framing those use around similar premises, this lands in the same neighborhood. Fans of Bakunyuu Maid no Omotenashi will also recognize the Y.O.U.C production style here. It's not trying to be anything other than what it is — a short, comedic hentai built around one deliberately silly love triangle. Go in knowing that and it delivers exactly what it promises.
