The story is getting bigger and the competition is growing too this episode. What makes the rivalry here fun is that they're not just trying to beat each other they still have each other's backs. The friend and rival dynamic is really strong here. The pace is fast but you never lose track of what's going on and it just keeps you curious

For me this episode seems to be a bit slow as it introduced that both Mashiro and Takagi and their rival, Niizuma is making a new manga. There is no clear conflict currently as the current progress has just started. The conflict at the start of this episode also too short.
