This episode balances a solid fight with an interesting breakdown of a fighting technique, which keeps things from feeling like a straight-up action episode. The combat itself is engaging even when the outcome doesn't come as a complete surprise.

WATCH IT! The episode actually delivers on the promise of the tournament. We finally get a proper fight, The animation is stiff in places, the plot is thin, and the characters are absurd. But if you're here for brutal fights, Episode 2 delivers FR!
