Episode Context

Coming off Baki's emotionally charged loss to professional wrestler Mount Toba, this episode pivots away from tournament results and toward the season's true endgame: the collision between Baki's world and Yuujirou's dominance. 'Killer Instinct' functions as a pressure-building bridge, drawing Doppo Orochi directly into the Yuujirou conflict and setting the stage for the head-on confrontation that follows in the next episode.
