Episode Context

Coming directly after the Maximum Tournament reaches its conclusion, this episode deliberately steps away from that resolution to recontextualize the entire season through Yuujirou's backstory. Rather than wrapping things up cleanly, it functions as a tonal bridge, honoring what just ended while pointing toward the larger, unresolved threat that Yuujirou represents. It's a statement of intent for what comes next, reminding viewers that the tournament was never the real endgame.
