4,000 years of history go up against a prehistoric tank is wild. It's actually painful to watch. T_T The animation during the impact frames is insane. Fr, no one is safe.

The pacing slowed a bit after the fight between Pickle and Sea King Retsu, as the episode focused more on narration and the news about the outcome, along with Pickle going out to find his own food.

Episode Context

Coming directly off the Retsu Kaioh vs. Pickle confrontation established in episode 3, this episode processes the aftermath of that clash and deepens the audience's understanding of Pickle beyond his role as a physical threat. It's a crucial character pivot early in a 27-episode season, humanizing the prehistoric warrior before the narrative pushes forward into 'Just Want to See You,' where Pickle's integration with, and reaction to, the modern world continues to evolve.
