Deeply moving. This ep shows the emotional side of the Hanma bloodline. The art captures Yujiro's rare expression of pride. It's a brutal yet emotional masterpiece that proves the strongest bond is forged in blood. \^o^/

The animation details in the fight were already top-notch, but what really makes me love it is that they didn't forget to focus on the emotions. The raw feeling behind each strike makes the action feel meaningful rather than just flashy.

THE FIGHTER USING DINOSAUR MOVES. the charge animation was BRUTAL. the opponent actually getting pushed back? unheard of. the crowd's reaction shots were hype. full circle from earlier in the season. 🦏

Episode Context

Picking up directly from 'Urban Legend,' where Baki deployed unconventional tactics to challenge the Ogre, 'Tears Swelling' pushes their confrontation into its most emotionally charged phase yet. As episode 24 of 27, this is deep in the climactic stretch of the season, where the physical battle increasingly reflects the complex psychological relationship between Baki and Yujiro. It sets the stage for 'Son, Father and...' signaling that the fight's resolution, and whatever reckoning comes with it, is imminent.
