This episode was actually really fun to watch. The pacing felt way better compared to the earlier ones, and it didn’t drag as much. I like how it mixed intense moments with some unexpected funny parts—it made everything feel more balanced.

In this episode, it shows how science is awesome and how the past and future meet together. No words can describe how the masterpiece is a chief kiss; it's highly recommended and also makes you think about how strong all the characters are. It's really 10/10.

The comedic timing is spot on, it has the right punch lines and an unrealistically insane level of seriousness. The combination of the voice-over and timing helps it all land even harder.

Finally! The episode is now on its main plot. I was really worried for the old lady back there. Musashi’s aura gives a completely different feeling compared to the fighters of the present era.

Musashi clearly isn’t playing by the same rules as the modern fighters—his style feels like a whole different dimension. Wild entrance energy. The whole episode feels dramatic and extra just because of this guy.

"Imaginary" combat—a classic Baki trope dialed up to eleven. You get a clear sense that Musashi is playing a completely different game than the martial artists we've grown used to. The psychological weight of his "unseen" cuts is brilliantly animated, showing how even without a blade his gaze could basically behead you.

Kaoru and Yujiro's interaction was an interesting bit in this episode. The atmosphere was intense and hopefully that scene continues to the next episode. They can't leave us hanging!

The old lady is so unpredictable here haha. And it's something that I noticed with this series. The funny stuff doesn't happen often but when they actually do, it's either a hit or miss. Thankfully this time, it landed well

Finally, our samurai's here! Interesting writing with his character as being thrown into a new era didn't faze him as much as I expected. This episode's pacing is heaps better compared to the last ones. Can't wait to see this new guy in action!

It’s getting even more exciting as the plot goes on. Some parts were surprisingly silly and made me chuckle, but overall, the episode was thrilling.

A bit of backstory from the previous seasons was shown at the beginning, as Hanayama and Yujiro faced off in a street showdown. This episode delivered intense moments and built strong anticipation as a worthy new opponent emerged.

The technical contrast between raw power and classic swordsmanship is hinted at nicely. Love the foreshadowing of tactical fights :3

Attention to distance, posture, and intent is fascinating. Modern fighters’ reactions to Musashi’s aura are delightfully precise, nice episode overall.

The references to traditional Japanese artwork are so good, and I'd yap about those paintings relentlessly if I could. They cooked extra with the soundtrack here, and the direction somehow made the art style and plot palatable.

Okay but they did nott have to animate THAT scene in such detail.. overall good buildup and interesting mix of how science could mix with supernatural abilities!
