Bad Teacher Equation
Oshimeter
Synopsis
For years, Atsushi has been in love with his childhood neighbor 'Ma-chan' — writing letters, holding onto memories, and eventually enrolling at a school with a rough reputation just because the guy works there as a nurse. Romantic, right? Except when he walks into the nurse's office, something is very off. This person is brash, careless, and acts like Atsushi doesn't exist. Turns out, there's a brother in the picture — and Atsushi has shown up at the wrong Shibata's door. That mistaken identity setup is where this 2-episode OVA from J.C.Staff really starts having fun, layering in a classmate who's making his own moves on Atsushi while he tries to sort out his feelings about this completely different person who shares a face with the boy he grew up loving. It's a comedy-first Boys Love story from 1994, so the pacing and animation are very much of that era, but the character dynamics hold up — there's genuine warmth underneath the confusion and deflection. If you've watched Junjou Romantica and wanted something shorter with a lighter touch, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of Fake will also recognize that push-pull workplace energy where nobody just says what they mean. It's not a long commitment — two episodes, one messy emotional situation, and a decent amount of charm for something this old.
