Instead of nonstop chaos, this episode slows down just enough to finally ask what Arrow actually wants beyond fighting. I honestly liked that shift a lot. Shu casually dropping massive universe-level lore while Kai is ready to throw hands at any second somehow works perfectly. The character writing carried this one hard.

A bit of sudden drop in pace as this episode mainly explains Arrow changed convictions and proving that how and why to Kai. Both dialogue and emotionally heavy but reasonably presented and not dragging the pace in a bad way.

This is one of the best episodes so far. It mixes heavy dialogue, intense fights, and great background music really well. The episode explains more about the real world outside Lingalind and also brings back the real protagonist after losing control. Now I’m curious about what their next move will be.
