Episode Context

Coming off Episode 2, where Kouichi fully steps into the role of Babel II and begins clashing with adversaries like Yomi and Leon, this episode deepens those conflicts rather than resetting them. It functions as a bridge chapter, consolidating what's been established while raising the threat level and sharpening the stakes heading into the season's middle stretch. What happens here lays essential groundwork for the confrontations and character evolution ahead in Episodes 4 and beyond.
