What a great season finale! I'm definitely going to watch season 2 right away because it left me dying to know what happens next. This episode is perfect for a Saturday night with pizza and Sprite, haha

A theatrical and satisfying conclusion to this anime. Keith’s psychological showdown with Gilbert and Koku's duel with Minatsuki are visually breathtaking. It leaves a few lore loose ends, but the character arcs close amazingly.

Episode Context

The season finale of B: The Beginning delivers exactly what twelve episodes of buildup demand, a relentless, high-stakes conclusion where every thread pulls taut. Keith, Koku, Gilbert, and Laica each reach their breaking points in confrontations that carry real weight. The pacing is aggressive, barely letting up as the episode cycles between its parallel conflicts. Tonally, expect a dark and propulsive ride that leans hard into its action and suspense roots while grappling with themes of justice, betrayal, and the cost of survival. Production I.G brings its visual muscle to bear in the climactic sequences. This is a finale built for momentum, it rewards investment in these characters and their tangled loyalties. Whether every resolution satisfies will depend on how deeply you've connected with the show's dual-narrative structure.
