His classmates include Sweets, who's cheerful but not exactly sharp, Nokio, a guy who's fully convinced he's a robot despite all evidence to the contrary, and Musubi, who will absolutely lose it if you call him a rice ball. The 2026 TV series picks up this premise and runs with it, throwing these weirdos into short-form episodes packed with rapid-fire gags and literary parodies. The humor lives in the absurd gaps between what these characters think they are and what they actually are, and the show leans hard into that disconnect.
